How improve Screen brightness, how to uninstall 'DIM SCREEN', how to increase brightness of laptop screen, or what to do when f11 and f12 keys doesn't work, improving brightness of screen if the maximum brightness is not bright enough.

Sometimes the minimum brightness of your system is more bright then what you need for e.g. In the night you may find your laptop's screen too bright but you cannot reduce the brightness beyond a certain point which is still brighter then what you want . In order to achieve this people start browsing and often they found "DIM SCREEN" software which is recommended by many users and some big companies. And people trust these fake reviews and install it on the system.

After installing it the screen's brightness decreases beyond the default level of your system and you get a peace of mind and sense of achievement. Great,,,, This sense make you tense in the morning. In the daylight the screen appears darker and when you try to increase the brightness then maximum brightness of system becomes much darker then what it use to be earlier. It doesn't change when you try to change the display setting in control panel and adjust the color, calibrate color and use advance options but it doesn't switch back to its previous brightness level. sometimes the f11 and f12 keys also doesn't work.

After that user remove it from system, uninstall it and delete any residual files but nothing change and brightness still remains same.
This is when people start searching on Google and learn that its a malicious software. But except this user doesn't find any information about how to restore your machine's original brightness and how to remove it completely from their system.

How to get back your screen's brightness??

To bring back your screen's brightness follow these steps:

1. Using control panel --> programs and feature, uninstall the Software.
2. Download CCleaner (Free tool) clean the junk files from your system and using tools tab in CCLeaner delete the junk in registry. you can close the cleaner now.
3, Again go to control panel ---> Device Manager -> Display Adapter and right click on the "HD Graphics family and select "properties" from the context menu.
4. Now go to tab Driver in the properties window.
5. Click on update driver and update the driver. Try to search on system first and if it finds the driver on your system update it and check the brightness level using F11 and F12 keys (windows machine)
and if no driver found on the system then use the option to automatically update the graphics driver.

Once its done then your screen will get rid of darkness and your screen will brighten up like earlier.

For dimming the brightness, these kind of software degrade the graphic drivers and your screen looses its shine .
